Overview

The Asian Pacific American Resource Center (APARC) at California State University, Fullerton serves as an academic and creative home dedicated to unifying and empowering the Asian Pacific American community. Through culturally affirming programs, events, and resources, APARC supports students, staff, faculty, and community partners both on and off campus.

 

As a Communications and Graphic Design Student Assistant, I support APARC’s mission by creating strategic, culturally sensitive content that amplifies student voices, promotes campus engagement, and strengthens the center’s visibility across digital and print platforms.

Titan Night Market

Titan Night Market is a large-scale campus event celebrating Asian Pacific Islander culture through food, performances, and community engagement. I supported event promotion by designing digital graphics and social media content that increased awareness and student turnout. My work focused on visually representing cultural identity while maintaining consistent branding and clear messaging across platforms.

APISAA Recognition Celebration

The Asian Pacific Islander South Asian American (APISAA) Recognition Celebration honors the unique experiences, contributions, and legacies of APISAA students within the campus community. I supported event communications by creating visually cohesive promotional materials and social media content that highlighted student achievement, fostered a sense of belonging, and encouraged campus-wide engagement. This event emphasized the importance of inclusive storytelling and culturally responsive design in celebrating student success.
