Overview
Cardz For Kidz at CSUF is a student-led chapter of a Chicago-based nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting spirits one card at a time. Through handmade cards and community-driven initiatives, the organization donates locally and globally to hospitals, schools, and charities serving various communities.
My Role & Responsibilities
- Served as Club President, overseeing operations and strategic direction for the CSUF chapter
- Led and managed 20+ board members across six committees to ensure organizational efficiency
- Planned and facilitated monthly general and board meetings, including agenda development
- Organized card-making, fundraising, donation, and social events throughout the academic year
- Led recruitment, advertising, and member engagement initiatives
- Coordinated with partner organizations and managed all club communications
- Oversaw banquet planning and end-of-year recognition efforts
Event Highlights
Donation to CHOC Children’s Hospital
Organized the collection and delivery of handmade cards to CHOC Children’s Hospital, providing messages of encouragement to pediatric patients and their families.
